Tyler Dominates NCPG A Juniors

Montgomery, PA – CJ Tyler of Susquehanna Valley CC had an impressive performance today at the NCPGA Junior Tour Event at White Deer GC. Tyler posted a 6 under par score of 66 and took first place in the Boys 16-18 year old division. This was Tyler’s second Junior Tour win of the summer. Second place went to Jeremy Pannebaker of Lost Creek GC posting a 2 over score of 74. Both Josh Levitski of Berwick GC and Logan Sears of Susquehanna Valley CC shot 77 to tie for third.

In the Boys 13-15 year old division local knowledge paid off as William Knauth of the host club took first place posting a 3 under score of 69. Knauth edged out fellow White Deer GC member Vincent Bender by 1 stroke. Bender took second place with a score of 70. Kohltin Bartlow also of White Deer posted a score of 75 and took third. Fourth place went to Ryan Miller of Wynding Brook GC with a score of 82.

In the Boys 10-12 year old division, Michael Maslanka of Pine Hills GC took first place with a nine-hole score of 50. Second place went to Preston Bolus of Susquehanna Valley CC posting a nine-hole score of 56.

Kaitlyn Vogel of Nittany CC took first place in the Girls 15-18 year old division posting a score of 83. Morgan Sohosky of Tee to Green GC shot a nine-hole score of 43 and took first place in the Girls 11-14 year old division.

In the Boys 5 hole group, Ben Sohosky of Tee to Green GC took first place posting a 5 hole score of 19. Hannah Rabb took first place in the Girls 5 hole group posting a score of 22.

The next stop on the Junior Tour is Susquehanna Valley CC on July 14.

A total of 59 golfers participated in this the sixth event on the 16 tournament summer series. Merchandise prizes were awarded to the top finishers in each age group. The NCPGA is supported by Blaise Alexander Family Dealership, The GouldenTouch Foundation, Woodlands Bank and Jersey Shore State Bank.
